The Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc is a clear, modern, and fresh ambassador of the Palatinate – a wine that perfectly combines elegance and approachability. The Pinot Blanc grape variety displays its full charm in the mild climate of the Palatinate and on its fertile loess and limestone soils: delicate, aromatic, but never loud, with a subtle smoothness and precise structure.
The Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc is vinified with a deliberate focus on freshness, vibrancy, and varietal character. Harvested in the cooler morning hours and gently processed, the delicate fruit flavors are preserved. The wine is aged primarily in stainless steel to emphasize its clarity, while a small portion matures in large oak barrels, adding structure, balance, and a smooth creaminess.
The result is a Pinot Blanc with radiant lightness and a delicate Burgundian richness that will delight both wine connoisseurs and novices. This product is produced by Villa Wolf GmbH using contracted grapes.

In Germany and around the world – Ernst Loosen's wine projects beyond the Moselle.

Great wines, in Ernst Loosen’s view, are born wherever soil, climate, and grape variety form a distinctive unity. This conviction has led him far beyond the Mosel. In Germany’s Pfalz, he has revived the historic Villa Wolf estate, while in Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy he has breathed new life into the venerable Maison Perron de Mypont. In Oregon, his projects Appassionata Estate and J. Christopher Wines produce Pinot Noirs of world-class quality.

Each of these ventures carries Ernst’s unmistakable signature: authenticity, precision, and an uncompromising commitment to capturing the character of a place in every bottle.
