Grown in the best steep slopes, hand-picked, spontaneously fermented and aged on the lees for twelve months, because we like to give our wines the time they need.
This is about clear lines and origin in the glass: each vineyard with its own expression, but all with the same signature.
This package offers you comparison, excitement, and Riesling at the absolute top level.
Following traditional bottle fermentation and an impressive eight years of lees aging, this Rosé Brut presents itself with great finesse, delicate complexity, and a firm, elegant structure. A noble sparkling wine that showcases Pinot Noir at its freshest and most profound.
The slate package – three Rieslings, three characters, three expressions of the Moselle.
The slate package (blue, grey, red) is like a small Riesling flight for home: every sip shows how soil, vine and winemaking style work together.
What's included in the package:
- 2x 2024 Blauschiefer Riesling dry
- 2x 2024 Rotschiefer Riesling dry
- 2x 2024 Grauschiefer Riesling off-dry
The dry Rieslings from the blue and red slate vineyards are clear, crisp, and mineral, expressing their respective terroir origins. The grey slate Riesling is vinified in the traditional Mosel style, resulting in a smooth, juicy drinkability.
Here you can taste why slate makes the Moselle so unique. Perfect for comparing, giving as a gift, and consciously enjoying.
This product is manufactured by Villa Wolf GmbH using contract materials.
The Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc is vinified with a deliberate focus on freshness, vibrancy, and varietal character. Harvested in the cooler morning hours and gently processed, the delicate fruit flavors are preserved. The wine is aged primarily in stainless steel to emphasize its clarity, while a small portion matures in large oak barrels, adding structure, balance, and a smooth creaminess.
The result is a Pinot Blanc with radiant lightness and a delicate Burgundian richness that will delight both wine connoisseurs and novices. This product is produced by Villa Wolf GmbH using contracted grapes.
A luxurious, versatile dessert wine that combines sweetness, finesse and regional character in perfect harmony.

VDP.Classification
Since 1993, Dr. Loosen Winery has been a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates).
Through the VDP classification, the estate commits to the highest quality standards, placing origin and terroir at the center of its winemaking philosophy.
Dr. Loosen Estate
Pioneer of the rediscovered German Riesling culture
In family ownership for over 200 years, the estate has been led by Ernst F. Loosen since 1988. In his view, great wines are the perfect expression of soil, climate, and grape variety.
With the heritage of his ancestors – own-rooted, old vines in historic Grosse Lagen of the Central Mosel – he found exactly the material needed to craft distinctive, complex wines of world-class caliber. Today, Dr. Loosen is internationally recognized as the flagship of a rediscovered German Riesling culture.
Since 1993, the winery has been a member of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).

OUR VINEYARDS
In the 1868 vineyard map of the Trier administrative district, created as a basis for tax assessment for Mosel estates, nine of our vineyards were designated as Grosse Lagen.
This classification is comparable to the Grand Cru system of Burgundy and was updated in 1995 by Stuart Pigott and Hugh Johnson in their German Wine Atlas. Today, we deliberately draw on this historically proven, cultural classification.
Since 1988, we have bottled exclusively Rieslings from these classified Grosse Lagen as single-vineyard wines, while all other wines are released by us as Gutsriesling.
