Dieser Crémant aus dem Burgund-Projekt von Erni Loosen und Manoël Bouchet vereint Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay und Aligoté. Die Trauben werden von Hand gelesen und schonend gepresst; ausschließlich der erste Presssaft findet Verwendung. Nach der traditionellen Flaschengärung reift die Cuvée 12 bis 18 Monate auf der Hefe und gewinnt dadurch an Komplexität und Finesse.

Feine Perlage und ein Duft nach Zitrusfrüchten, hellem Apfel und weißen Blüten prägen den Charakter, ergänzt durch dezente Brioche- und Mandelnoten. Am Gaumen verbinden sich lebendige Frische, cremige Textur und eine mineralische Anmutung zu einem eleganten Gesamtbild.

In family ownership for over 200 years, the estate has been led by Ernst F. Loosen since 1988.

In his view, great wines are the perfect expression of soil, climate, and grape variety.

With the heritage of his ancestors – own-rooted, old vines in historic Grosse Lagen of the Central Mosel – he found exactly the material needed to craft distinctive, complex wines of world-class caliber. Today, Dr. Loosen is internationally recognized as the flagship of a rediscovered German Riesling culture.

Since 1993, the winery has been a member of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
